Job Description

Lead and manage the Sales, Customer Service, and Technical Service departments serving General Industrial customers, ensuring the achievement of the area’s defined objectives

• Ensure that processes are followed in accordance with company policies and that they are carried out with integrity and ethics.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements established by the company.

• Define and coordinate, jointly with HR, the training of General Industrial employees.

• Verify that customer invoicing is accurate; supervise compliance with purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials requested by customers.
• Ensure the achievement of financial objectives established by corporate through the design and implementation of strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the General Industrial business.
• Recommend standard product lines to customers that meet their requirements, as well as propose product changes; promote the development of new products that fulfill customer needs.
• Support the Development Laboratory / Quality Control departments in the design of new products and/or modifications to existing products.
• Lead and supervise the activities of the sales team under direct responsibility.
• Address and respond to General Industrial customer complaints, acting as the primary channel for feedback to the Production, Laboratory, and Executive Management areas.
• Define the business strategy to meet the sales budget and operating profit targets.
• Negotiate pricing jointly with Account Managers.
• Prepare and manage the department’s expense budget.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong managerial skills; business school diplomas and leadership training.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management and/or Technical Service Management roles.

• At least 2 years of experience in the coatings industry, particularly within one of our business units.
