Sales Development Representative (HVAC) – Remote

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: U.S. client business hours (aligned with prospect time zones and outreach cadences)

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship building.

Previous HVAC industry experience is required, as you’ll engage HVAC contractors, distributors, service providers, and other industry decision-makers through targeted outreach. This is a performance-driven role focused on identifying opportunities, starting conversations, qualifying leads, and booking meetings for the sales team.

What You’ll Do

Prospecting & Lead Research

• Research target companies and decision-makers using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, or similar platforms.
• Build prospect lists aligned with Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
• Identify industry trends, prospect pain points, and personalization opportunities.
• Maintain organized lead lists and outbound workflows.

Outbound Outreach & Lead Generation

• Execute outbound outreach across email, cold calls, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Complete 60–100 outbound touchpoints per day.
• Make 30–40 cold calls daily using structured outreach and objection-handling techniques.
• Personalize messaging based on each prospect’s role, industry, and business needs.
• Build and manage outbound sequences and follow-up cadences.
• Generate qualified meetings for the sales team.

Campaign Management

• Build and optimize multi-touch outbound campaigns.
• A/B test messaging, subject lines, CTAs, and call scripts.
• Monitor campaign performance and improve outreach strategies to increase reply and conversion rates.

CRM & Pipeline Management

• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar CRM platforms.
• Log activities, conversations, notes, and pipeline updates.
• Keep lead stages and follow-up activities organized.
• Ensure strong CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Account Executives and sales leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing on messaging and lead quality.
• Share prospect feedback to improve outreach performance.
• Support broader outbound growth initiatives as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

• 1–2 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in outbound sales or lead generation.
• Previous HVAC industry experience is required.
• Strong understanding of HVAC contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and related markets.
• Experience using outbound platforms such as Outreach.io, SalesLoft, Apollo, or HubSpot Sequences.
• Experience making cold calls and executing outbound campaigns.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar CRM platforms.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to personalize outreach and build professional prospect relationships.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup.
