Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Client Meetings and Appointments

Our client is a leading UK-based provider of Cyber Security risk management services, specializing in sectors such as Legal, Financial, Accountancy, Architecture, and other specialist industries. Our comprehensive solutions ensure continuous cyber risk management and outsourced information security, empowering clients to remain protected 24/7.

The company is expanding its sales team and seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused on setting up client meetings and appointments. This role is instrumental in initiating contact with potential clients, utilizing CRM data and effective communication skills to schedule appointments for our New Business sales team. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, target-driven, and skilled in relationship-building to drive our growth initiatives forward.

Location: Candidates must be based in South Africa, remote work, or work from our office in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and emails to engage potential clients and identify decision-makers.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings and appointments for our New Business sales team using CRM tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo).
  • Relationship Building: Build rapport and establish relationships with prospects to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Collaboration:
    Coordinate effectively with the sales team to ensure seamless transition of scheduled appointments.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential leads and target industries aligned with clients services.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, clients services, and sales techniques through ongoing training and development.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 3 to 5 years in outbound B2B sales or appointment setting role.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships remotely.
  • Organization:
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing schedules and appointments.
  • Initiative:
    Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Effective in identifying client needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Tech-Savvy:
    Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo) and MS Office Suite.
