Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities across OBRELA's cybersecurity services portfolio, including Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Cyber Risk Management, Threat Detection & Response, and Cyber Resilience solutions.

The SDR serves as the first point of contact for prospective customers, educating them on cyber risk, understanding business and security challenges, and generating qualified pipeline opportunities for the Sales team.

The role sits within the Marketing Team and reports to the Marketing Director/Head of Marketing, working closely with Sales, Channel, and technical teams to support business growth across the European market.

Language Requirements & Regional Coverage

• Fluent English (written and verbal) is essential.
• German and/or Dutch language skills are highly desirable.
• Additional European languages are considered an advantage.
• The SDR will support prospect engagement across assigned European territories. Language capabilities and the ability to effectively engage customers across the region are prioritized over physical location.

Customer Engagement

• Clearly articulate the value of OBRELA's cybersecurity services portfolio, including MDR, cyber resilience, threat detection and response, and managed security services.
• Educate prospects on evolving cyber threats, regulatory requirements, and operational risk.
• Position OBRELA's services as business-focused solutions that help organizations strengthen security, reduce risk, and improve resilience.

Market & Account Intelligence

• Research target accounts, industries, and cybersecurity challenges across European markets.
• Track competitor positioning and customer requirements across cybersecurity and managed security services.
• Provide feedback to Marketing and Sales leadership on market trends, campaign effectiveness, and lead quality.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Cybersecurity or sales certifications are a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in SDR, Inside Sales, Business Development, or a similar role, ideally within cybersecurity, MSSP, SaaS, or technology environments.
• Exposure to cybersecurity services and enterprise technology solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience engaging with IT, Security, and business decision-makers is preferred.

Skills

• Fluent English communication skills; German and Dutch are a significant advantage.
• Strong discovery, prospecting, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts in business terms.
• CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and target driven.
