Job Description

As an SDR, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings for our field sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Build and research prospect lists within assigned territories and target accounts
  • Execute outreach sequences using established messaging and templates
  • Personalize outreach when appropriate while maintaining consistent messaging
  • Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the appropriate field sales representative
  • Maintain accurate records and activity within Salesforce and Outreach
  • Create and update opportunities following established sales processes
  • Communicate meeting details and prospect context to Account Executives through Slack and CRM
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene and ensure accurate reporting
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to continuously improve outreach efforts

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience booking meetings for Account Executives or outside sales teams
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM
  • Comfortable learning and following established sales processes
  • Strong organization and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Experience selling into education, school districts, public sector, healthcare, food service, or nutrition-related industries
  • Experience using Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, or similar sales engagement platforms
  • Experience researching accounts and identifying buying personas
