We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outbound lead generation, a strong understanding of nearshore staff augmentation, and a passion for building relationships with prospective clients. This role is pivotal in identifying and qualifying opportunities to fuel our sales pipeline and contribute to Perform’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and target potential clients through outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, etc.) to generate new business opportunities in the nearshore staff augmentation space.
Qualify inbound leads and nurture them through the early stages of the sales funnel.
Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies.
Leverage your knowledge of nearshore staff augmentation to articulate Perform’s value proposition to decision-makers (e.g., IT managers, HR leaders, and C-suite executives).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and prospect interactions in our CRM system.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities within the nearshore staffing industry.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and meetings booked.
Represent Perform professionally in all client-facing interactions, building trust and credibility.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience as an SDR or similar role, with a focus on B2B sales.
Demonstrated experience in nearshore staff augmentation or IT/services outsourcing sales (required).
Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and pipeline management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
Comfortable with cold outreach and overcoming objections to secure meetings.
