About the Company

Our client is a U.S.-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) founded in 2021, specializing in IT support, cybersecurity, and compliance services for small and midsize businesses. After five years of organic growth driven by referrals and personal relationships, the company is entering an exciting new phase: building its first internal sales team to scale outbound efforts and accelerate growth. Their entry point with new clients is penetration testing, with a clear upsell path into remediation services and full IT management. About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help expand our client's customer base by generating qualified appointments and maintaining a clean, accurate CRM. This is a unique opportunity to be the first internal sales hire at a growing MSP, which means real ownership and influence over how the sales playbook gets built. You'll be on the front lines of growth, introducing business leaders to smarter, safer IT solutions that make their work easier and more secure.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey value and build rapport quickly.
  • A professional, persistent, and energetic phone presence.
  • Comfort speaking with executives, gatekeepers, and decision makers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Tech savvy and quick to learn new systems such as HubSpot and Microsoft 365.
  • Self-starter mentality with a never-give-up attitude and a strong desire to grow.
  • Team-oriented mindset and reliable attendance record.
  • Flexibility and creative thinking — comfortable iterating on scripts, processes, and outreach strategies rather than relying on rigid playbooks.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, MSP, SaaS, or technology services.
  • Cold calling experience (SDR / BDR background).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, IT services, or pentesting.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM.
  • Spanish as a secondary language.

Responsibilities

  • Make 100+ outbound calls per day to new and existing leads.
  • Identify and qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) that result in First Time Appointments (FTAs).
  • Schedule and confirm First Time Appointments for the sales team.
  • Prospect and cold call from company-provided lists or your own research to generate new opportunities.
  • Educate potential clients on how the company's technology, cybersecurity, and compliance services can empower their operations.
  • Capture discovery notes, key details, and contact data into HubSpot CRM with accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Managed IT Services on outreach campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Support marketing efforts by ensuring data quality and timely lead follow-up.
  • Provide feedback on the outbound playbook (cadence, scripts, channels) to help shape and improve the sales process as the team grows.
