Thomson Reuters is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead our Asia & Emerging Markets (AEM) SDR team based in Malaysia. This is a critical leadership role responsible for developing a scalable outbound prospecting engine that supports pipeline growth across Southeast Asia and other emerging markets.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager, you will be focusing on:

  • Team Leadership & Coaching - Lead, motivate, and develop a team of SDRs responsible for outbound prospecting and pipeline generation across Asia & Emerging Markets.

  • Pipeline & Target Ownership - Own SDR team KPIs including outbound activity, meetings generated, qualified pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and sales accepted opportunities.

  • Outbound Prospecting Excellence - Guide SDRs on account prioritization, persona targeting, multithreaded outreach, and value-based prospecting strategies.

  • Lead Qualification & Sales Alignment - Ensure SDRs apply consistent qualification methodologies (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC, or agreed qualification standards).

  • Process Optimization & Reporting - Continuously improve SDR workflows, outreach effectiveness, reporting cadence, and operational processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Enablement teams to support regional growth initiatives.

About You

You are a fit for the role of Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager if your background includes:

  • Proven experience managing or coaching SDR, BDR, inside sales, or outbound prospecting teams.

  • Strong background in B2B outbound sales, lead generation, or pipeline development, ideally within technology, SaaS, or enterprise solutions.

  • Demonstrated success driving pipeline generation and achieving performance targets in a metrics-driven environment.

  • Experience supporting regional or multi-country sales teams is highly preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced regional environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving priorities.

  • Experience supporting regional or multi-country sales teams is highly preferred.
