Position Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Reports To: Sales Manager/Director
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Part-Time
Salary: Commission Based for first 3 months

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. The SDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, initiating relationships with potential clients, and supporting the sales team in meeting business development goals. This role is a critical link between marketing and sales, driving the growth of our client base and revenue streams.
Scope of Work for Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Objective:
To identify, qualify, and convert potential clients into leads, schedule appointments, and support the sales team in closing deals.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead Generation and Research

    • Identify Prospects:

      • Research and build a database of potential clients across targeted industries and regions.

      • Use platforms like LinkedIn, industry-specific directories, and internal CRM tools.

    • Qualify Leads:

      • Assess potential clients using lead qualification criteria (e.g., industry alignment, budget, hiring needs).

      • Maintain accurate records of prospect information, interactions, and lead status.


  • Outreach and Engagement

    • Cold Outreach:

    • Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage potential clients.

    • Personalize communication to address client pain points and align with their needs.

    • Follow-Up:

      • Execute timely follow-ups with prospects to nurture leads.

      • Use CRM tools to track follow-up schedules and manage pipelines.


  • Appointment Setting

    • Book Qualified Appointments:

      • Schedule meetings between qualified leads and yourself.

      • Ensure decision-makers (e.g., HR heads, and hiring managers) are involved in meetings.

    • Prepare for Meetings:

      • Provide meeting participants with key information about the prospect.

      • Share client pain points, hiring needs, and other relevant details.


  • Meeting Attendance and Lead Conversion

    • Attend Meetings:

      • Participate in scheduled meetings to introduce services, answer initial questions, and clarify offerings.

      • Represent the company professionally, ensuring a positive client experience.

    • Convert Leads:

      • Qualify prospects during meetings and determine their readiness to move forward.

      • Guide interested clients toward signing contracts or proceeding with the next sales stage.


  • Pipeline Management

    • Update CRM:

      • Log all activities, communications, and meeting outcomes in the CRM system.

      • Track lead progress and ensure accurate reporting of key metrics.

    • Coordinate with the Sales Team:

      • Provide detailed handoffs for leads ready to close.

      • Share insights and feedback to improve outreach and meeting strategies.


  • Reporting and Analysis

    • Weekly Reporting:

      • Submit reports on leads generated, appointments booked, meetings attended, and conversions achieved.

    • Performance Metrics:

      • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:

        • Number of leads contacted.

        • Number of qualified appointments booked.

        • Number of meetings attended.

        • Conversion rate from meetings to leads.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sales development, inside sales, or similar role, preferably in the recruitment or staffing industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, QuickMail).

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
