Job Description

Are you an ambitious professional who enjoys building relationships, connecting with people, and being on the frontlines of growth? Adrenaline is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Growth team and help drive new business opportunities.

Business Development is critical to our success, and in this role you'll serve as one of the first points of contact for potential clients. Working closely with Marketing, Business Development, and subject matter experts, you'll help identify, qualify, and nurture new opportunities while perfecting the fundamentals of consultative sales and business strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Growth, you'll play an important role in activating Adrenaline's industry-leading thought leadership, events, and marketing initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to develop sales, client relationships, and business development skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and industry engagement
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for prospective clients and inbound inquiries
  • Partner closely with Marketing to convert marketing-generated leads into qualified opportunities
  • Coordinate introductions between prospective clients and internal business development leaders and subject matter experts
  • Maintain accurate lead information, client notes, and pipeline activity within CRM systems
  • Support efforts to improve sales processes, tools, and automation

Responsibilities

  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to engage prospective clients and expand Adrenaline's network
  • Use HubSpot CRM to track and manage leads throughout the sales process
  • Execute outreach campaigns through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client goals, challenges, and business needs
  • Prepare concise opportunity summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Business Development teams to ensure seamless lead handoffs
  • Contribute ideas to improve prospecting strategies, outreach effectiveness, and sales processes
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools and sales technology to support lead generation and targeted outreach initiatives
  • Learn and apply consultative selling techniques through coaching, training, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, account coordination, or a client-facing role. Internships and strong early-career experience count.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including professional email outreach, phone conversations, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Comfort with cold and warm outreach, including handling rejection and following up persistently and professionally.
  • Ability to run discovery conversations: asking good questions, listening, and identifying a prospect’s goals and challenges.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail for keeping CRM records, notes, and pipeline activity accurate.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Business Development leaders, and subject matter experts.
  • Willingness to travel to and attend industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with CRM Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot and Leadfeeder
  • Experience with the financial services industry, retail design and construction, marketing, and/or branding
  • Exposure to B2B, professional services, or consulting environments
  • Experience converting marketing-generated leads into qualified opportunities
  • Consistent record of success in consultative and relationship-based sales
  • BA/BS degree preferred, but not required
