Crimson Education is the world’s leading college admissions consulting firm, with over 1,490 Ivy League offers and 2,410 to the US Top 15. We help ambitious students gain admission to the world’s top universities through expert-led guidance and proven, data-driven strategies. Crimson is the only college admissions consultancy that brings together:

  • Former Ivy League and Top 20 admissions officers to rigorously review and refine applications
  • Professors and PhD teaching fellows from leading universities to guide students through original, independent research — with pathways to selective peer-reviewed publication or conference presentation
  • Past ISEF winners and judges who coach students to compete for state, national, and international science fair awards
  • Capstone project mentors who help students design and scale leadership initiatives with real-world impact, measurable outcomes, and credible external validation

The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport easily, be customer-obsessed, and have a growth mindset.

The purpose of this role is to be the first point of contact for incoming leads and potential clients through outbound calling for the allocated leads, ensuring a smooth customer experience and transition to the Initial Consultation stage with Academic Advisors for qualified leads.

  • Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand student goals and readiness
  • Scheduling meetings for the leads to meet with Crimson’s Academic Advisors
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive and professional customer interactions and relationships for Crimson
  • Continuously improving sales techniques, processes and enhancing industry knowledge
  • Engaging in outreach activities such as presenting at school talks, careers expos, and Crimson seminars when required
  • Track all prospect interactions, notes, and activity metrics accurately in the company's CRM

What skills and experience are required?

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Comfort engaging with prospective clients through structured outbound phone interactions
  • Professionalism, Time and Stress Management, Confidence, Positive attitude (patience, empathy), willingness to learn and go the extra mile

Preferred Background

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or client-facing roles
  • Exposure to international education or admissions landscape (advantageous)
  • Experience working with targets, inbound and outbound, or outreach environments

This is a full-time role with hours aligned to when parents and students are most active. We typically start our day at 10:30 AM and are available until 8 PM, with flexibility to take breaks during less active hours.

We work 5.5 days a week—Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as a half day.

This is a remote role, with the expectation to be present on-site for occasional events or team meetings once every quarter or twice a year.
