EDUSFERE

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

K–12 Independent Schools | Remote (Philippines-Based) | Full-Time

About the Role

Edusfere is looking for a driven and articulate Sales Development Representative to join our team through a BPO partner based in the Philippines. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for independent K–12 schools across the United States and international markets, generating qualified pipeline through a combination of outbound prospecting and inbound lead management.

The ideal candidate brings direct experience in education—either as a former teacher, school administrator, or someone who has sold products and services into K–12 schools. You understand the language of educators, the rhythms of the school year, and how purchase decisions are made at independent schools. This domain expertise, paired with strong sales acumen, will set you apart.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting: Research and identify target independent K–12 schools in the US and globally; build targeted prospect lists and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, video) to generate qualified meetings for the sales team.
  • Inbound Lead Management: Respond to and qualify inbound leads in a timely manner; assess fit, educate prospects on Edusfere’s value proposition, and route qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
  • Pipeline Development: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings booked, pipeline generated, and activity metrics.
  • CRM Hygiene: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, pipeline stages, and notes within the CRM (HubSpot).
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on trends in independent school education, edtech adoption, and competitive landscape to refine messaging and targeting.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing on campaign strategy, content feedback, and lead scoring; work with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and feedback loops.
  • Personalized Outreach: Craft compelling, school-specific messaging that demonstrates an understanding of each institution’s unique needs, mission, and challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or SDR role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Direct experience in the K–12 education sector: prior work as a classroom teacher, school administrator, admissions officer, or in an education-focused sales role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling into schools, school districts, or education institutions (independent, private, or international schools preferred).
  • Native or near-native English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills—you must be able to hold natural, confident conversations with US-based school leaders.
  • Familiarity with the independent and international school ecosystem, including understanding of school leadership structures, procurement processes, and academic calendars.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar).
  • Strong research skills and the ability to personalize outreach at scale.
  • Comfortable working US business hours (Eastern or Central Time) from the Philippines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a BPO or outsourced sales environment.
  • Familiarity with international school markets (Asia, Middle East, Latin America, Europe).
  • Background in edtech, SaaS, or education services sales.
  • Experience with video prospecting tools (Loom, Vidyard) and social selling on LinkedIn.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a related field.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently booking 15–20+ qualified meetings per month with school decision-makers (Heads of School, Directors of Learning, Director of Curriculum, or similar titles).
  • Building a healthy pipeline of opportunities across US independent schools and international school markets.
  • Becoming a trusted first impression of Edusfere—school leaders feel they are speaking with someone who genuinely understands their world.
  • Contributing insights from the front lines that improve Edusfere’s messaging, targeting, and go-to-market strategy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience (paid via BPO partner).
  • Performance-based incentives and bonuses tied to meetings booked and pipeline generated.
  • Ongoing training and professional development in sales methodology, education markets, and Edusfere’s product suite.
  • Opportunity to grow into a senior sales role or Account Executive position as Edusfere scales.
  • Collaborative, mission-driven team culture focused on transforming K–12 education.

How to Apply

If you are passionate about education and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your resume along with a brief cover note explaining your connection to K–12 education and why you’re excited about this opportunity.
