Tax.com is seeking motivated Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who are eager to contribute to our sales efforts by identifying and connecting with potential clients. Your role will be pivotal in driving our sales pipeline by researching and engaging with financial professionals such as CFOs and accountants. What Your Career Path Can Look Like:

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

  • $50,000 base salary

  • $74,000 On-Target Earnings (uncapped commission)

Senior SDR (typically within ~12 months based on performance)

  • $65,000 base salary

  • $102,000 On-Target Earnings (uncapped commission)

Account Executive (based on continued performance and readiness)

  • $125,000 base salary

  • $250,000 On-Target Earnings (uncapped commission)

Our expedited sales development track is designed for ambitious individuals who want to grow quickly. Promotions are performance-driven, and we actively invest in training, mentorship, and hands-on development to prepare SDRs for the next step.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Tax.com’s Key Results:

  • Research and identify key contacts within accounts, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to create effective outreach strategies.

  • Initiate conversations with financial professionals to understand their needs and challenges, positioning Tax.com as a valuable solution.

  • Proactively follow up on inbound/outbound leads and strategically prospect new opportunities.

  • Engage with prospects through calls and emails, consistently setting up meetings for Account Executives.

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in Salesforce to ensure smooth handoffs and follow-ups.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Previous exposure to sales or business development roles, ideally within 6-12 months.

  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and persuade.

  • Excellent organizational abilities and a talent for managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A driven and goal-oriented mindset, with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This job requires no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.

  • Long periods of time sitting while working at a computer.

  • Regular contact with co-workers via online tools or in person.
