The Role

The Fidelity Private Shares team is growing and looking for a Sales Development Representative. The Team is focused on supporting the innovation economy through a robust equity administration platform. We offer solutions and capabilities that support companies, their employees, and community partners during the entire corporate lifecycle. This role will be focused on supporting the growth and expansion of our business that services private companies and the start-up community.

We are looking for a talented individual that will be primarily responsible for prospecting and pursuing in-bound and outbound leads of prospective new capitalization table clients. Working in a team-based atmosphere, you will be responsible for identifying prospective leads in the venture capital ecosystem and prospecting venture-backed startups through thoughtful outreach. Primary responsibilities include:

Conduct high-volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
Generate new business opportunities by setting up meetings/demos for Account Executives
Achieve monthly quotes on meetings/demos/qualified opportunities scheduled
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM
Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted campaigns and follow up on generated leads

The Expertise and The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in sales or customer-facing roles; Prior SaaS Sales or financial services experience a plus
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends a plus

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $66,000-125,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
