Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a driven and resourceful Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients - responsible for building sales pipelines, generating qualified opportunities, and setting the foundation for long-term customer relationships. You'll work closely with our Revenue Operations team to execute targeted outreach campaigns and represent the company at key industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities through targeted cold outreach, including personalized email campaigns and multi-touch sequences.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and intent, then set and participate in discovery and introductory meetings with our Chief Revenue Officer and team.
  • Attend and actively participate in industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to generate pipeline and build brand awareness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect activity, pipeline status, and communications through customer relationship management best practices.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging, optimize outreach sequences, and provide feedback from prospect conversations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outreach activity, qualified opportunities created, and meetings set.
  • Stay current on the tech industry and startup trends, competitive landscape within venture-backed companies, and sales tool and product developments to engage prospects in an efficient and credible manner.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales role at a SaaS or professional services company.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets.
  • Experience managing prospect data and activity in a CRM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, concise outreach messaging.
  • Comfortable attending and representing the company at in-person industry events, often after business hours.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
