We’re looking for a SDR (Sales Development Representative) – Payment Solutions Specialist to join our ever-evolving Sales Development Team and help shape the future of global commerce. As the critical first point of engagement for prospective clients, you’ll play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, connecting businesses with the right payment solutions, and creating a seamless path from initial interest to long-term partnership. Working at the intersection of sales, payments expertise, and revenue operations, you’ll influence business outcomes, strengthen client experiences, and help drive sustainable growth. This is an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop deep industry expertise, and contribute to Global Payments’ mission of enabling commerce around the world through innovative payment technology and exceptional client experiences.

What you'll own

  • Drive revenue-generating opportunities by uncovering client needs, identifying the right payment solutions, and converting inbound interest into qualified sales opportunities that contribute to business growth.

  • Create exceptional client experiences through timely, consultative engagement that builds trust, accelerates decision-making, and strengthens conversion outcomes.

  • Influence sales performance through actionable insights by capturing high-quality client intelligence that enables informed decisions, effective prioritisation, and stronger pipeline results.

  • Strengthen pipeline health and accountability by ensuring qualified opportunities move efficiently through the sales process, improving responsiveness, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.

  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimisation opportunities that enhance lead quality, increase operational efficiency, and support scalable business growth.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in fintech, payment processing, financial services, sales operations, client onboarding, or a related environment, with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct consultative discovery conversations, understand client challenges, and recommend solutions that align with business needs.

  • Strong knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, including Salesforce, and experience managing sales pipelines with accuracy and discipline.

  • Analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, pivot tables, or similar tools to generate insights and support decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

It's a bonus if you have

  • Experience within merchant acquiring, payment solutions, or the broader fintech ecosystem.

  • Exposure to business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • A process-improvement mindset supported by Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
