About the Opportunity

As a Sales Development Executive for Meetings & Events, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth across Singapore and Malaysia. You'll identify and generate qualified sales leads through outbound and inbound channels while supporting our Business Development Managers with contract preparation, supplier follow-ups, and everything in between to help us turnaround faster to clients and win deals.

What You Will Do

  • Cold call, email, and leverage digital and social channels to identify and cultivate qualified sales leads for the Business Development team
  • Engage prospects effectively to nurture relationships with key decision-makers and qualify leads
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to devise and execute targeted outreach campaigns that generate qualified leads
  • Support Business Development Managers with contract preparation, supplier follow-ups, and administrative tasks to accelerate deal closure
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and effective management throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to gather information and support deal negotiations
  • Provide regular updates on lead status and progress to relevant stakeholders
  • Use CRM software and sales prospecting tools to track activities and optimise performance

Who We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of inside sales, business development, or related experience in a B2B industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage key decision-makers and build rapport
  • Proactive self-starter who takes initiative to get things done
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales prospecting tools (LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is advantageous
  • Passion for travel and the meetings & events industry
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
