Sales Desk Manager – Drive Performance, Lead People, Win Every Day

Curry Honda is looking for an experienced, high-energy Sales Desk Manager who knows how to lead from the front, develop talent, close deals, and drive dealership profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is not a role for someone who simply pencils deals. We're looking for a leader who can motivate a sales team, manage inventory effectively, maximize gross profit, and help create a culture of accountability, performance, and customer-first selling.

What You'll Do

  • Structure and desk deals to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.

  • Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Consultants to achieve and exceed monthly goals.

  • Monitor daily sales activities, appointments, follow-up, and closing ratios.

  • Work closely with Finance Managers and Sales Managers to ensure efficient deal flow.

  • Drive showroom traffic conversion and internet lead performance.

  • Manage trade evaluations and inventory utilization.

  • Conduct daily sales meetings and training sessions.

  • Ensure a world-class customer experience throughout the sales process.

  • Maintain high levels of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of successful automotive leadership experience.

  • Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Desk Manager, Floor Manager, or Automotive Sales Director.

  • Strong desking and deal-structuring skills.

  • Proven ability to increase gross profit while maintaining CSI.

  • Experience managing salespeople and holding team members accountable.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.

  • Ability to perform in a high-volume dealership environment.

Preferred

  • Honda or import franchise experience.

  • Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, VinSolutions, DealerSocket, or similar CRM experience.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management and digital retailing.

  • Track record of developing top-performing sales teams.
