Full Time Sales / Deli Assistant required for a busy LONDIS store based in Aughrim, Co. Wicklow.
This is a full time role, candidate must be available to work 30 - 39 hours per week with availability of 5 days over 7.
Successful candidate must be over the age of 18 for the sale of Alcohol & Tobacco products and have their own transport.
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To operate within the Store efficiently, effectively and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction at all times with the highest standards of service and products.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Previous experience in retail / hospitality would be preferred and a distinct advantage
Great customer service skills
Knowledge in food safety, hygiene and HACCP would be beneficial
Customer driven with great communication and interpersonal skills
Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative
Professional & polite manner is essential
Committed to continually improving department standards with an attention to detail
Committed to delivering great customer experiences in a busy environment
Enjoys working in a fast paced team environment and with a willingness to embrace new challenges
