Job Description


Positioned within an established boutique design and textile firm in Stanford, this permanent, full-time in-office role as a Sales Administrator and Customer Service Assistant is critical for driving the end-to-end client journey and delivering premium bespoke products. Working full-time hours (working Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00 (with a one-hour lunch break), and Fridays from 08:00 to 16:00 (no lunch break).), the successful candidate will manage the complete sales administration pipeline while serving as the primary touchpoint for high-touch customer relationships.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a premium commercial workflow in a high-output, collaborative environment where a relevant tertiary qualification is essential to successfully navigate and optimize business systems.


Responsibilities


  • End-to-End Sales Pipeline Management: Execute and oversee all phases of the sales cycle, including managing incoming enquiries, contributing to design consultations, generating detailed quotes, processing invoices, monitoring payment collections, coordinating dispatch logistics, and securing formal client sign-off.

  • Client Service Excellence: Serve as the front-facing ambassador for the organisation by welcoming walk-in clients, managing high-volume communication across phone, email, and digital platforms, and maintaining proactive stakeholder updates to build long-term loyalty.

  • Creative Design Support: Translate client design aspirations into functional configurations, leveraging a professional understanding of textiles and interior aesthetics to advise customers on premium configurations.

  • Operational Control & Accuracy: Maintain precise records, handle numeric administrative tasks with high accuracy, and proactively resolve any order variations or logistical challenges.


Requirements


  • Educational Background: A completed and relevant tertiary qualification is essential for this role to support operational and administrative excellence.

  • Commercial Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales administration, client services, or front-facing commercial support roles.

  • Industry Experience: Solid experience or a demonstrably strong professional alignment with the interior design, decor, hospitality, or textile sectors where creativity and client focus are paramount.

  • Mobility & Location: Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle is essential, alongside being based within a reasonable commuting distance of Stanford.

  • Core Competencies: Strong numerical aptitude, precise attention to detail, proactive problem-solving capabilities, and refined verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Prior guest-relations or operational experience within luxury hospitality or premium artisanal retail.
