Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for a Sales Counselor in the Austin area The selected candidate for Sales Counselor will sell homes in such a manner as to optimize velocity and profitability, and reliably meet all sales goals and the subdivision’s business plan. This candidate will treat all customers professionally and to set proper expectations for the sale, construction and closing of the customer’s home. The candidate will manage all Company business according to the Sales Procedures Manual and the Company’s policies, Core Values and Guiding Principles.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for profitability, quantity, and quality of sales and contracts in subdivision.

  • Must have a good understanding of the Company’s product and be able to answer questions pertaining to the building process, financing, area schools, parks/playgrounds, buyer profile for community and any other pertinent information regarding the surrounding community.

  • Responsible for in depth understanding and ongoing implementation of the Company’s Lead Management System and Lead Management System.

  • Must be willing to help support the Construction Team by typing letters, making copies, reproducing house files to send to the appropriate home office.

  • Responsible for closing the model at applicable time.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years new home sales experience with a residential builder.
  • Prior experience working with Realtors and construction.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage financing programs and the ability to calculate mortgage payments.
  • Ability to analyze numbers and information and produce clear, communicative reports.
  • Reliable, clean transportation.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
