As a Sales Coordinator in freight forwarding, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team and contributing directly to business growth and operational efficiency.
Sales Support & Coordination
Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and shipping documentation.
Support the full commercial lifecycle from inquiry to delivery.
Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team.
Coordinate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of shipments.
Work closely with multiple internal departments including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment in risk management, commercial pricing, and marketing strategies
Process Management & Communication
Serve as a point of contact between sales, operations, and other internal departments.
Track shipments, follow up on documentation, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Identify bottlenecks or delays and propose process improvements.
Maintain and update client and shipment records in CRM and internal systems.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, shipment status, and performance metrics.
Assist the sales department in handling and auditing client and prospect databases.
Collect and analyze data to provide insights for business decisions.
Support management with presentations and client updates.
Collect, analyze, and interpret relevant business and sales critical metrics.
Identify risks or delays early and recommend corrective actions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or substantial related experience accepted.
Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Proactive, dedicated to finding effective answers, and able to work independently.
Proficient in English.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems (Sales Force, Neurored).
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to push topics to completion
Confident working with senior collaborators and cross-functional teams
Structured, proactive, and focused approach
