Job Description

The IKEA vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people. We do this by offering a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible can afford them. We operate in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand – and have an ambitious expansion plan to bring a little bit of Sweden to new markets in the region. We are part of the Ikano Group of companies and the only IKEA franchisee owned by the Kamprad family that founded IKEA.

We also develop, own and operate Shopping Centres that are anchored by IKEA and create walkable communities by including residential, office and other types of real estate in our development plans.

We work towards making sustainability a natural part of our everyday work. We are active in our communities, driving and supporting social initiatives that benefit children, women and the environment.

About the job

IKEA for Business is the business-to-business division of IKEA, offering our unique range and solutions to professional customers in office furnishing, residential developments, education, hospitality, and other commercial sectors.

As Sales Coordinator / Sales & Service Associate, you play a key role in supporting our B2B sales activities — from coordinating leads and preparing proposals, to following up with customers and ensuring that every business partner experiences the professional, reliable and caring service that IKEA is known for.

You will work closely with Sales Managers and Interior Designers, bridging customer needs with IKEA’s solutions and ensuring smooth processes from first contact to delivery and after-sales.

Your assignment

  • Coordinate and process client quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and maintain sales data, order tracking, and client records across relevant systems.
  • Support the sales team by preparing presentations, reports, and sales materials for meetings or client engagements.
  • Follow up with clients on payment status, delivery progress, and post-sales documentation to ensure smooth completion of orders.
  • Coordinate with Fulfilment, Interior Design, and Service Providers to ensure all client requirements are met.
  • Respond to client enquiries through phone, email, and online channels, providing professional and timely assistance.
  • Ensure all sales transactions and processes comply with IKEA policies, procedures, and financial controls.
  • Assist in monitoring stock availability and coordinating with stores or logistics for order fulfilment.
  • Support the preparation of internal sales reports and dashboards for management tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and supporting workflow enhancement initiatives.
  • Live our value of "Togetherness" by being cooperative in assisting in other job and operations-related duties as required in order to best support our business, customers and people.

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Service-minded, with 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or administrative support (experience in interior, retail, or hospitality is an advantage).
  • The right attitude and behavior to sell actively and help customers to buy
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
  • Confident in approaching and talking to people in a polite and friendly manner
  • Comfortable using digital tools (MS Office, CRM systems, or similar).
  • A team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn and support others.
  • Knowledge of the IKEA product range, including service products
  • Passion and knowledge of home furnishing, interior design, retail and communications with IKEA identity
  • Responsibility, Accountability and Ownership are a must.
  • Enthusiastic about IKEA values and passionate about creating a great experience for business customers.
