The Role

We are looking for proactive Sales Coordinator who will support the Sales Area in overall management of Equipment customer orders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure that any non-standard terms and conditions have been approved before order entry.
  • For stock orders or reservations, ensure order is covered by the division
  • supply plan and get approval from BLM's prior to order entry.
  • Ensure Liquidated Damages and Penalties information is approved according to QAR/CAR prior to order entry.
  • Review customer order against ST Case & quote.
  • Ensure that formal order acceptance is sent to the customer.
  • Manage priorities of all Sales Areas orders under guidance of BLM's
  • Run regular delivery reviews (e.g. Order Status meeting with BLM's)
  • Monitor and analyze the quality of submitted orders and the customer order changes in frozen period and identify needed improvement actions.
  • Participate as needed in demand planning meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with standard ordering processes and rules
  • Ensure regular reporting to BLMs on ordering performance and improvement plans
  • Ensure optimization of in-country logistics and transportation cycle time
  • Submit weekly sales pipeline report.
  • Assist team on AR collection
  • Comply with all Sandvik policies and procedures, particularly those related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ).

Qualification & Competencies

  • Degree in Management/Engineering
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-discipline team and provide guidance to members of the team.
  • Team Orientated
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
