Job Description

The Position:

The Sales Coordinator serves as the primary administrative and operational support partner for the Major Accounts and Sales team. This role is responsible for coordinating customer onboarding, managing contract administration, supporting pricing and billing processes, maintaining customer records, preparing reports, and ensuring exceptional service for key commercial, industrial, municipal, and regional accounts.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting customer retention, contract compliance, revenue growth, and operational excellence.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain customer contracts, service agreements, amendments, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding, service implementations, and contract renewals.
  • Monitor customer service requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Track contract expiration dates and renewal opportunities.
  • Ensure pricing, service levels, and contractual obligations are accurately documented.
  • Generate proposals, agreements, presentations, and customer correspondence.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, activity reports, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with bid submissions, RFP responses, and municipal proposal documentation.
  • Enter and maintain pricing updates and customer account changes.
  • Support retention efforts through exceptional communication and responsiveness.
  • Track key performance indicators related to major account retention and growth.
  • Communicate with dispatch to coordinate special deliveries or pickups when situations have escalated past customer service.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of customer service, sales support, account coordination, or administrative experience.
  • Experience working with contracts, pricing, billing, and customer records.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
