Roles Overview
The Sales Coordinator acts as the primary liaison between the customers and the broader business, handling customer quotes and orders, and maintaining global client communication. The ideal candidate will be innately driven, motivated and passionate about excellent customer service delivery, capable of delivering accurate timely work, and able to work autonomously and part of a team. The successful candidate will also hold shared responsibility for maintaining our upcoming web shop and phone application, and coordinate and administer orders transiting it.
Core Responsibilities
- Handling enquiries, quotes and orders promptly within specified time frames
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and prospects
- Providing customers with timely updates on product information and any changes to their quotes and orders, ensuring they are not left waiting
- Proactively following up on outstanding quotations regularly
- Active maintenance and coordination of our eCommerce web shop once live
- Participating in weekly planning meetings and sharing relevant information
- Processing customer equipment returns as and when required
- Assisting and collaborating with colleagues in the sales team and across the business
- Assist with the maintenance of ERP data activities, such as pricing
What are we looking for?
Essential
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales coordination role
- Experience working with sales processes an ERP business system environment
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
- Highly customer focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to look for excellence in everything you and have a built-in drive to want to deliver for our customers
- Solid understanding of incoterms, payment terms, invoicing and general business commercial arrangements
Desirable
- Have the confidence to negotiate on pricing, terms and conditions
- Used and operated a digital eCommerce sales platform, preferably swiftcloud
- Previous experience working with IFS ERP business system
- Previous experience working in an engineering organisation
- Ability to interpret and comprehend technical drawings
- Competent in using common IT software, such as MS Excel, Word, etc
- Fluency in additional languages
