Basic Function
Support the order fulfillment process from signed sales order to invoicing of the end user. Responsible for generating machine quotations that effectively utilize all available and applicable pricing programs in order to formulate a price quotation that is timely, accurate and competitive while meeting the company’s profitably goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the complete life cycle of a transaction
- Monitor all incoming and outgoing orders
- Create work orders for sales, demos, and loaners.
- Verify products are ready for shipment and schedule
- Track and report out transaction status as it proceeds through the process
- Support all order changes
- Coordinate delivery of materials and final product.
- Work and communicate closely with the Rental, Receiving, Service, Parts, and Sales departments to track and support sales timelines
- Based on requests and input from field sales, select a stock number or configure a new machine that will meet or exceed the requirements of the customer’s quote request.
- Formulate a price calculation on a selected machine including but not limited to attachments, PM agreements, extended warranty, PDI or any additional customer requirements.
- Apply all available and applicable discount and financing programs to maximize profitability and competitive price offering.
- Submit the completed cost calculation sheet to the appropriate Sales Manager for review, gross profit input and approval to generate the quotation.
- Work and communicate with Territory Manager or Sales Manager on any quotation revisions.
- Enter each quote in the Territory Manager’s Prospect Board.
Requirements
- Degree preferred or related experience.
- Ability to stay committed to task and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Extensive knowledge of construction machinery products and applications.
- Team player with ability to work with others to achieve common goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, CRM systems and other operating or web based systems.
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch etc.
- Lift 45 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for continuous periods.
