Job Description

Cana Communications, an Eagle Fire owned company, has been helping protect people and property with life safety systems since 1982. We offer a broad range of services and programs in fire alarm, security, and communications systems designed to meet the specific needs of each facility we serve.

The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Sales Team by managing and maintaining accurate data within Salesforce, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring visibility into pipeline performance. This position acts as the operational backbone of the sales process—helping drive efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure opportunities move smoothly from lead to close.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, including accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities

  • Enter and assign incoming opportunities to the appropriate sales representatives

  • Ensure all opportunities are properly staged, valued, and aligned with defined sales processes

  • Monitor pipeline health and enforce data quality standards across the sales team

  • Perform routine audits to identify missing or inconsistent data

  • Support sales forecasting by validating opportunity data and timelines

Pipeline Coordination & Sales Support

  • Track and manage the full sales pipeline from lead to close

  • Coordinate with sales representatives to update opportunity statuses, next steps, and projected close dates

  • Assist in prioritizing opportunities based on value, probability, and timing

  • Support bid and proposal tracking, including deadlines and submission requirements

  • Ensure all documentation (proposals, contracts, scope details) is properly attached and maintained

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate communication between sales, operations, and estimating teams

  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and customer documentation

  • Support onboarding and training of new sales team members on Salesforce processes

  • Promote adoption of Salesforce best practices across the organization

  • Follow established processes for lead management, tracking, and reporting

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with Salesforce CRM ( required)

  • Experience in a sales support, coordinator, or administrative role preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Additional Information

  • This is a fully on-site role based in our Kennesaw, GA office

  • Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
