Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting & Planning: You take ownership of the rolling sales forecasts across all entities, analyze deviations in revenue and profitability, and actively contribute to the annual planning process.

  • Business Partnering: Acting as a trusted business partner to Sales and Management, you support the sales functions and entities from a commercial and financial perspective and derive meaningful recommendations for action.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Your responsibilities include the preparation of monthly sales reports as well as ad-hoc, market and profitability analyses, including the presentation of relevant business developments to management.

  • Pricing & Business Cases: You analyze customer, product and pricing structures with a focus on contribution margins and profitability, while also supporting quotations, business cases and investment decisions.

  • Management Support: You prepare management presentations and decision-making materials in both German and English, translating complex topics into clear and actionable insights.

  • Systems & Processes: Working within a heterogeneous systems environment, you actively contribute to the further development of sales reporting as well as existing reporting and controlling processes.

  • Month-End & Stakeholder Management: You support the monthly reporting process across the entities, including accruals, provisions and claims management, while collaborating closely with international stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a comparable commercial qualification.

  • Professional Experience: You bring several years of experience in Controlling, ideally with a strong focus on Sales, Commercial Finance or Business Partnering.

  • Analytical Skills & Systems Affinity: You have a strong numerical and analytical mindset combined with a high affinity for data and systems; advanced Excel skills are essential.

  • ERP & Reporting Tools: Ideally, you have experience working with ERP, BI or database systems and feel comfortable navigating complex reporting environments.

  • Working Style: You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, proactively identify optimization potential and drive topics forward with a high level of ownership.

  • Communication & Personality: You communicate confidently across different stakeholder levels, enjoy working collaboratively and stand out through your resilience, hands-on mentality and ability to present complex topics in a clear and concise way.

  • Languages: You are fluent in German and have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
