In this environment, the Sales Controller plays a central role in steering sales performance and providing actionable insights to Sales Directors and Management to support strategic decision-making.
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong PowerPoint capability required; Power BI used for targeted analytical needs.
Highly collaborative, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Sales Directors across portfolios.
Automotive business acumen and experience in sales controlling represent an advantage.
Demonstrates strong personal accountability and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Act as the intermediary and strategic partner for the company's portfolios Sales team and management.
Develop and maintain standardized templates covering a wide range of scopes across multiple portfolios.
Owner of the dedicated SharePoint channel, ensuring accurate organization and management of all sales.
Monitor and track sales performance, with a strong focus on actual bookings and pipeline dynamic evolution.
Consolidate RFQ tracker activity across portfolios, having a clear view about the pipeline.
Prepare materials for sales workshops, contribute actively during sessions, and manage all necessary follow‑up actions.
Top-Line Budget Preparation
Consolidate bottom‑up inputs and coordinate validation meetings with Management
Build and validate volume and pricing structures
Volume analysis triangulation YoY, vs. EDIs, vs. HIS
Identify the projects from pipeline included in the budget.
Support for Sales Director in building-up requested information’s and analysis, including preparation of tailored reports and insights.
Ad-hod analysis , support for customer presentations.
Future responsibilities to be developed:
Squeeze management tracker (inflation recoveries based on steel base price evolution, supplier cost inflation, personal cost inflation).
