Job Description

CooperVision Korea (CVK) is a well-established soft contact lens business with its national headquarters in Seoul, employing over 80 people, including a full field sales force. This position is expected to implement the execution of effective sales activities to reach established sales objectives for assigned territory/channel and effective management of assigned clients, including product penetration, display, prevention of stock-outs, involvement in promotional events.

  • Effectively manage assigned customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Manage sales activities and trade programs for designated accounts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and address customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through a thorough understanding of customer needs.
  • Drive product penetration and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure product merchandising, inventory management, and prevention of stock-outs at customer accounts.
  • Support and execute promotional and marketing programs.
  • Provide professional after-sales service and customer support.
  • Collect, analyze, and report sales performance, competitor activities, and market insights.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage an assigned territory.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive, customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong execution capability and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • Native-level fluency in Korean is required.


Work Environment:

  • Frequent field visits to customer accounts (optical stores) within the assigned territory.
  • Support customer product training, promotional activities, and sales initiatives.

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in contact lenses, optical products, medical devices, healthcare, or FMCG industries is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the optical industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in new account development and customer relationship management is preferred.

Education:

  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to achieving sales targets.
  • Adaptable to change with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
