As a Jewelry Consultant, you'll listen, build relationships, learn what matters to each customer, and confidently guide them toward something they'll love and value for years to come.

And you'll sell.

This is a career for someone who loves the art of selling. Someone who can connect with people, make a confident recommendation, communicate value, and ask for the business.

Our consultants can earn an individual performance bonus of $2,000–$50,000 annually on top of base pay, plus a weekly team bonus of up to $150. Strong performance creates meaningful earning growth over time, and the majority of our store leaders started in this role.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Create personal, memorable sales experiences by understanding each customer's story, style, and needs
• Lead confident sales conversations that connect product features and benefits to what matters to the customer
• Build relationships that extend beyond a single transaction and create customers for life who come back and recommend you to their friends and family
• Learn the craftsmanship, quality, and story behind our jewelry so you can sell with expertise and confidence
• Own your individual sales goals while contributing to the success of the entire store
• Follow up with customers and continue building relationships after they leave the store
• Learn continuously, welcome coaching, and help newer team members grow
• Be a Proud Brand Ambassador who represents Shane Co. with authenticity and pride in every customer and business interaction.
• Put the customer at the center of decisions and deliver experiences that exceed expectations
• Protect our family legacy by acting with integrity by doing what is right.
• Share our uncompromising standard for quality products.

Qualifications

• You listen before you recommend. You know how to earn trust, understand what matters to the person in front of you, and turn that connection into a sale.
• You want to win, but you also want the people around you to win. You take ownership of your results, welcome feedback, and are always looking for ways to get better.
• If you've succeeded in consultative sales, you may already have what it takes to be exceptional here.
• We'll teach you diamonds, gemstones, craftsmanship, and jewelry. You bring the confidence, curiosity, care, and drive.

What You Bring

• At least two years of consultative, customer-facing sales experience
• Experience selling products or services where understanding features, benefits, and customer needs matters
• A track record of building relationships that lead to results
• Confidence communicating value and asking for the sale
• Curiosity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect with different personalities
• Evening and weekend availability
• Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity for handling fine jewelry
• Excellence in written and spoken English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• No jewelry experience required.
• We can teach you jewelry. We're looking for the qualities that are much harder to teach.
