We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Consultant to represent and promote our exclusive Jarrolds Signature Collection within our department store.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about beauty and skincare, enjoys connecting with customers, and takes pride in delivering a personal, first-class shopping experience.

About the Role

As our Jarrolds Signature Collection Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our beauty range, helping customers discover products that suit their individual needs while building awareness, loyalty and sales.

You will create a welcoming and engaging experience on the shopfloor, combining product knowledge, expert recommendations and a genuine passion for helping customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customers and promote our Jarrolds Signature Collection.
• Recommend products to meet individual needs.
• Drive sales by identifying opportunities, introducing customers to new products and encouraging repeat purchases.
• Build strong relationships with customers and develop a loyal client base.
• Maintain an attractive, well-presented area, ensuring products and displays are always looking their best.
• Support promotional activity, demonstrations and in-store beauty events.
• Work collaboratively with the wider store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for beauty, skincare and cosmetics.
• Enjoys selling, building relationships and exceeding sales targets.
• Is confident approaching customers and making product recommendations.
• Has excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner.
• Is enthusiastic, motivated and takes pride in their work.
• Can work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
• Has previous retail or beauty sales experience; experience in skincare or cosmetics would be an advantage.

Details:

• Hours: 20.5hrs per week
• 3 days – Friday 9.30-5, Saturday 9.30-6, Sunday 10.30-4.30
• Pay:
• £12.71

Contract until 24th December.
