Job Description

At Highgrove Bathrooms, we’ve been helping Australians create beautiful spaces since 2004. As a trusted supplier to tradespeople, builders, renovators and interior designers, we pride ourselves on delivering quality products and exceptional customer service.

We are currently looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team in a full-time permanent position. This is a hands-on retail role that combines showroom sales, customer service, stock handling and general store operations. You’ll combine customer-facing sales with hands-on warehouse work, by driving sales, managing stock and taking ownership of the full customer experience.

If you’re proactive, have a passion for sales, hands-on and ready to step up, this is your chance to build real skills across sales and operations in a growing business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming customers and providing outstanding service
  • Assisting with product selection and showroom sales
  • Providing product and design advice where appropriate
  • Processing sales and customer orders via POS systems
  • Maintaining showroom presentation and merchandising standards
  • Assisting with stock handling, transfers and order preparation
  • Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries
  • Supporting general warehouse and store operations
  • Assisting with customer enquiries, phone calls and follow-ups
  • Supporting showroom stock replenishment and presentation
  • Assisting with stock takes and cycle counts

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous retail sales or customer service experience
  • Ability to balance sales activity with operational/warehouse tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
  • Confidence using computer systems and POS software
  • High attention to detail across orders, stock and customer interactions
  • Ability to multitask and work in a busy retail environment
  • Availability to work Saturdays as part of a roster
  • Forklift license (advantageous)

Experience or interest in interiors, renovation or bathroom products will be highly regarded.

Physical Requirements of the Role

This role includes a combination of showroom and warehouse duties and involves regular standing, walking and manual handling tasks, including safely lifting and moving products up to 15–20kg. Reasonable adjustments will be considered in accordance with applicable workplace and anti-discrimination legislation.
