WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Within our unit, the Sales Team Central is responsible for sales for BASF Agricultural Solutions Deutschland GmbH in the Saxony-Anhalt sales region.

  • As a sales consultant, you manage the customers assigned to you in your area of responsibility independently, including organising and running customer events, whilst making targeted use of defined sales tools (e.g. prepared specialist topics).
  • Your responsibilities also include maintaining customer data and keeping further documentation (e.g. visit reports) on customers within the CRM system.
  • In addition, you draw up and maintain target agreements with resellers and end users. You act as an additional regional point of contact for the wholesale sector, which is managed by the regional sales team leader.
  • Last but not least, you analyse and evaluate the crop protection market within your own area of responsibility and across the team’s territory, and use this to develop well-founded sales strategies.
  • You develop your expertise independently and continuously in sales-related areas and implement specified strategic approaches in regional market development.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • completed commercial or agricultural training, or an equivalent qualification
  • experience in sales within the agricultural or crop protection sector
  • knowledge of complaints management, customer concepts and customer management
  • proficiency in using CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • an independent, structured and customer-focused approach to work
  • a team player with strong communication skills, as well as negotiation and sales skills
