The Opportunity
We are looking for Sales Consultants who want to build a real career selling a product they can be proud of. In this inside sales role, you will manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound leads, guide customers through a consultative sales process, and close custom steel building projects across commercial, industrial, agricultural, and private markets.

We hire Sales Consultants at three levels based on your background. Your starting base reflects where you are today. Your earnings potential is the same regardless of level - uncapped.

Your base is determined during the interview process based on your experience. Commission is uncapped at all three levels - your income ceiling is set by your effort and your results.
What You Will Do
- Manage an active pipeline of inbound and outbound leads from first contact through signed contract - consistent follow-up cadence is everything in this role
- Conduct needs-based discovery calls to understand each customer’s project vision, site requirements, use case, and budget before developing a proposal
- Prepare customized quotes and proposals using Sunward’s quoting tools, clearly communicating the value of a custom solution over a commodity alternative
- Respond to inbound inquiries fast - lead response time is a key driver of close rate and a non-negotiable habit of our top performers
- Build long-term relationships with customers across commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential sectors - many of our best customers come back for a second or third building
- Develop deep product knowledge in PEMB - framing systems, building codes, load considerations, and accessory packages - through training and hands-on experience
- Maintain accurate pipeline records in the CRM and participate in weekly team reviews with current deal status and clear next steps

Experience in construction, building products, real estate, PEMB, or other project-based B2B sales is a meaningful plus - and qualifies you for the Level II or Level III base. But if you have the right attitude and drive, we will invest in developing your product knowledge from the ground up.
Pay and Benefits
- $45,000 - $65,000 base salary - level determined by your background and experience
- Uncapped commission - top performers earn $150,000 - $200,000+ per year
