YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual from within our organization to join our team as a Feed Sales Consultant This role combines relationship-building, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to support customers with their livestock operations. You will play a key role in delivering value to clients, solving on-farm challenges, and driving business growth in collaboration with the Regional Business Manager.
Travel and Relationship Building
Customer Visits: Regularly travel within the assigned territory to understand customers’ livestock feed needs and operational challenges. Build strong, trust-based relationships that position you as a valued partner.
Customer Support: Provide expert advice and practical solutions related to livestock nutrition, feed programs, and barn management. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Sales and Marketing
Sales Strategy Development: Partner with the Regional Business Manager to develop and execute effective sales plans. Identify growth opportunities and expand market presence within your territory.
Marketing Fund Management: Strategically manage marketing resources to maximize return on investment. Track, evaluate, and report on marketing activities and outcomes.
Problem Solving
Barn & Operational Support: Identify and help resolve issues related to barn environments, including ventilation, feeding systems, and overall efficiency. Deliver practical, results-driven solutions for customers.
Livestock Nutrition Expertise: Assess the unique nutritional needs of various livestock and recommend tailored feed programs to optimize animal health, performance, and productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Proven success in agricultural sales, ideally within livestock feed or a related field.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of livestock nutrition, farm operations, and feed solutions.
Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Travel: Willing and able to travel frequently within the territory. Valid driver’s license required.
