Job Description

Help people shape their future and build a high-performance sales career while you do it!

Are you a confident, driven sales professional who loves meaningful conversations and real outcomes?

We’re looking for a Future Skills Senior Training Advisor to join our high-performing Sales team, supporting prospective students and corporate clients to find the right learning and development solutions from AIM’s leading education portfolio.

This is more than a telesales role - it’s a consultative, relationship-driven position where you own the full sales journey and play a key role in shaping a premium student experience from first conversation to enrolment.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll:

  • Engage with warm and cold leads via inbound and outbound calls in a structured, high-performance sales environment
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with prospective students and clients
  • Provide career-focused advice, mapping learning pathways and recommending suitable courses and qualifications
  • Own your sales pipeline end-to-end, driving conversion, participation and revenue growth
  • Exceed individual and team sales targets while delivering an exceptional student experience
  • Act as a brand ambassador, confidently representing AIM and its learning solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Learning & Development, Customer Success and the wider Scentia Group
  • Stay up to date with new programs, industry trends and compliance requirements

What success looks like

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Love sales, targets and performance metrics - and consistently exceed them
  • Enjoy meaningful conversations and know how to listen, influence and close
  • Take ownership of outcomes and continuously look for better ways to do things
  • Balance commercial results with a genuine commitment to customer experience

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years’ experience in outbound telesales or high-volume sales environments
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to different audiences
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling capability
  • CRM experience (Salesforce highly regarded)
  • Education or learning & development sector experience (desirable, not essential)
  • A proactive, resilient and “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude

Why you’ll love this role

  • Purpose with performance – Combine a high-energy sales role with meaningful work that helps Australian professionals upskill, change careers and future-proof their success.
  • Structured onboarding with flexibility – First 3 months will be 100% office based, followed by hybrid working arrangements.
  • Supportive, collaborative culture – Work from a vibrant city office alongside a driven, friendly team that celebrates wins and supports each other.
  • Real career progression – Clear opportunities to grow your sales capability!
  • Continuous learning – Access ongoing training, professional development and complimentary short courses to invest in your own future skills.
  • Feel supported – Access a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and paid volunteer days to support your wellbeing and the community.
  • Make an impact every day – Play a direct role in shaping the future of learning and delivering education that truly makes a difference.
