Job Description

The Sales Channel Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing relationships with distributors and channel partners to drive sales growth and profitability. This role ensures that sales quotas are met, channel strategies are executed effectively, and distributor performance aligns with company objectives. The Sales Channel Manager acts as the primary liaison between the company and its distribution network, fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and identifying opportunities for expansion.

    • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors and channel partners.
    • Develop and implement channel sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
    • Monitor distributor performance against sales quotas and KPIs.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with channel partners to maximize profitability.
    • Provide sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights to senior management.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support channel campaigns and promotions.
    • Identify new channel opportunities and expand market coverage.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards.
    • Train and support distributors to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine channel strategies.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in channel sales, distributor management, or business development.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations teams.
