Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Canvasserto identify sales opportunities, qualify and engage appropriate contacts, and drive leads through the sales pipeline. This position assists with daily operation of the sales team ensuring smooth and efficient workflow and serves as a liaison for customers

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for customers
  • Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the salespipeline.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information fromnewspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, including quotes prices and credit

terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

  • Calls on regular and prospective customers to solicitorders via phone or face to face.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and track all invoices and expense accounts againstbudget.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective and current customers.
  • Coordinates customer training

Experience and Qualifications

  • High school diploma: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferred not required; or one to two years related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Experience in prospecting, appointment setting, and making a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Persistence and ability to overcome objections.
  • Ability to connect individuals at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
