Sales & Business Development Manager
Location: Brisbane, Australia

Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Sales & Business Development Manager in
Brisbane, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by identifying and developing new customer and project opportunities
  • Liaise within the
    Branch and global network, ensuring a consistent business approach
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and account development plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the global network to maximize business opportunities
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and business development activities
  • Maintain an effective project and
    customer management plan that includes a formalized review structure and
    business plan for each client on an ongoing basis to ensure maximization of all
    business offerings
  • Prepare and manage quotations, RFQs, customer reports, and sales analyses
  • Maintain accurate customer records, CRM updates, and business databases
  • Monitor and report on performance against targets, KPIs, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health & safety, and environmental standards

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

  • At least seven years’ experience in
    international freight forwarding, managing sales and customer development, and
    at least 5 years experience in a senior sales/business development role with a
    proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Strong customer relationship management and account development skills
  • Sound commercial acumen with experience in quotations, RFQs, and contract negotiations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong networking, rapport-building, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and proficiency in CRM systems and business reporting
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and proactive approach to business development
