Job Location: The Residence at Basking Ridge - Basking Ridge, NJ 07920
Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly

Active member of the sales team and assists the Sales and Marketing Director with the management of the community sales efforts.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting revenue growth and the sales in the community.
- Initiates and coordinates visits by influential and community groups to the residence for marketing exposure with the Sales and Marketing Director and Executive Director.
- Coordinates all advertising and public relations for the residence.
- Supports the Occupancy/Marketing Department to operate in accordance with all policies and procedures as well as marketing efforts, event planning and database management.
- Assist in maintaining favorable relationships with social service departments, hospitals, physician offices, and other marketing and referral sources.
- Assist with professional contacts which include one-on-one visits, presentations, phone call follow-up and mailings.
- Establishes and maintains favorable impression of the residence to the residents family and friends, influential individuals and groups, community members, etc.
- Proactively identify and pursue publicity opportunities.
- Assist in meeting all occupancy, sales and move-in projections.
- Assists in production of advertising, public relations, events and other promotions.
- Assists in the inquiry, occupancy, and vacating process.
- Keeps abreast of competitive facilities in the marketing area and any changes that will influence the residences program and progress.
- Maintain a database using companys tracking software of professional, community and healthcare referral sources. Conduct regular mailings.
- Assists in completion of all reports in a timely and accurate manner.

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- - Requires the ability to assist in maintaining the overall census to budgeted goals.
- - The ability to assist in establishing and maintaining a positive image and good relationships with marketing and referral sources is required.
- - Organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft office is essential.
- - The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is essential.
- Education: High School Diploma and some college preferred

Experience: Requires at least two years of experience in occupancy/marketing or sales background, preferably in the long-term health care or hospitality industry.
- Certificates/Licenses: Valid drivers license in the state employed is required.
- Physical Demands:
- - May require some bending, lifting, stretching and stooping.
- - Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment.
- - Visual and auditory acuity.
- - Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen (15) lbs. and be able to carry objects.
- - Must be able to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit and stand.
- - Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate.
- - Must use good body mechanics.
- - Must project a positive attitude towards the service provided.
