Sales Associate

Runnings Supply

Runnings is looking for a driven and hands-on Sales Associate to join our team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools and power equipment while providing excellent customer service.

Pay Range: $16.94-$18.00 Depending on experience.

Position Summary

This role focuses on assisting customers, maintaining department organization, and ensuring inventory and freight are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations
• Deliver high-quality customer service and support
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department
• Help manage inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
• Process incoming freight in a timely and efficient manner
• Assemble outdoor power equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, and leaf blowers
• Identify basic equipment issues and assist customers with troubleshooting
• Stay informed on department products, features, and uses
• Support overall store operations and team efforts

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Ability to lift and move power equipment
