Hi there, we’re Article. 👋 Since 2013, we’ve been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time. Our retail stores bring the brand to life, creating a space where our customers can experience our furniture in person while keeping the simplicity of buying direct. As a Home Expert Associate (Sales Associates), you’ll be the face of Article, helping every customer feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their choices.
This is our first US-based store, and we're excited to be based in the heart of San Francisco's design district and become part of the local community.

Size: 7,000 square feet
Opening Date (target): August 16th
Store Hours: The store is open 7 days per week, 10 am - 7 pm.
Video Interviews: June 24th- July 2nd
In-person Interviews: July 7th & 8th
Training Schedule: Start July 27th
Full-Time Employees
Hours & availability: 40 hours a week, 5 shifts a week
Part-Time Employees
Hours & availability: Regularly work fewer than 32 hours a week, and no guaranteed minimum hours/ shifts.
What You’ll Do:
As a Home Expert, you have a passion for helping customers create beautiful spaces in their homes. You are up to date on the latest trends and seek out ways to inspire and delight our customers. You have a proven ability to drive sales and deliver on KPI’s.
- Welcome customers into the showroom and help them feel at home
- Guide customers through our furniture selection and support ordering
- Stay informed about our products, tools, and policies to support customer confidence
- Keep the store looking beautiful and organized throughout the day
- Use internal systems to manage orders, support returns, and navigate logistics
- Collaborate with teammates and contribute to a respectful, team-first environment
- Participate in regular coaching and feedback with your Store Manager
Who You Are:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation to 2299 Alameda St, San Francisco
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
- Minimum 18 years of age
- You bring retail experience, ideally in a considered-purchase environment, where customers take time to compare and decide
- You’re passionate about helping people and love solving problems
- You build strong, genuine relationships that create long-term Article customers
- You’re resilient, adaptable, and enjoy being part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment
