The role
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our clients team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably with experience in engineering or construction, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, promoting products/services, and achieving sales targets.
Your Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and engineering sectors
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, and project managers
Conduct product presentations, site visits, and client meetings to promote company offerings
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, operations, logistics) to ensure timely delivery of products/services
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates
Provide after-sales support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
At least 3–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, or services is an advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as needed
