Why This Role Matters
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a welcoming and positive guest service experience to all Wine Retail customers by maintaining a well-merchandised environment. This role will drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products, assisting the Retail Sales Manager with day-to-day front of house and in-store responsibilities.

Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers,in person or via phone,buildingrelationships, and informing about products and services
Organize and distribute inventory,receivingand stockingwinetomaintainstorefront
Assistwith inventorymanagement, reviewingdepletions,invoices,and requisitions
Assistwith in-storepurchases,pick-up,andcoordination and support of deliveries
Draft andmaintainaccuratewine descriptions and tasting notes
Execute wine classes andevents, including set up, check-in, pouring, and breakdown
Participate in wine and spirits training to build product knowledge
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
Ensure practicesare in compliance withSLA rules and regulations
Other duties and projects as assigned by Manager
Physical Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to safely lift, load, and handleup to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders andrepeatedly lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, and kneel
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends
What you’ll bring to the team
Genuine appreciation of and passion forfinewine and spirits
Minimum1+ years ofwinesales experience,winespecificcertification, comparable level of knowledgepreferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communications
Superior, hospitality-driven client service skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize thoughtfully, and manage competing deadlines
Strong follow-up skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to workeffectively andindependentlywithin a collaborative team environment
