Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Full-Time Sales Associate who enjoys meeting people and helping them take action toward their goals.

You’re comfortable starting conversations, picking up the phone, asking thoughtful questions, and recommending a membership. You bring initiative, follow-through, and a willingness to learn.

Previous Pilates experience isn’t required. Sales, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience is a plus.

Reports to: Studio Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

Before we open, you’ll help build our founding membership community:

• Represent BODYBAR at local businesses, apartment communities, pop-ups, and events.
• Follow up with prospects by phone, text, and email, learning their goals and answering questions.
• Explain membership options, address concerns thoughtfully, and confidently ask for the sale.
• Work toward daily and weekly outreach, follow-up, booking, and membership goals.
• Record conversations and next steps in our customer-management system.
• Invite prospects and founding members to community activities and pre-opening events.
• Participate in team training, sales practice, and opening preparations.

Once we open, you’ll help turn first visits into lasting connections:

• Welcome members by name and help first-time guests feel comfortable.
• Coordinate with instructors before and after class to create a personal guest experience.
• Recommend memberships based on each guest’s goals and help them get started.
• Assist with bookings, account questions, retail purchases, and available studio services.
• Encourage referrals, celebrate milestones, and continue community outreach.
• Keep reception, retail displays, and studio spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing
• Comfort making outbound calls and asking for the sale
• A goal-oriented mindset with consistent follow-through
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• A positive approach to coaching, feedback, and teamwork
• Interest in fitness, wellness, and helping others
• Comfort learning scheduling and sales software
• Availability for a full-time schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent

Your Founding-Team Schedule

Your role begins before the studio opens. During presale, your schedule will include prospect follow-up, community outreach, events, and training. Some tasks may be coordinated remotely, alongside scheduled in-person activities.

Once the studio opens, this is an in-studio position with continued community involvement. Your schedule and availability will be discussed during the interview process.
