The Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting strategic semiconductor customer operations by ensuring accurate and efficient order execution, maintaining system integrity, and enabling seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with Global Account Managers (GAM) and headquarters in Vienna, this role contributes directly to sales and operational excellence and high levels of customer satisfaction within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
A strong understanding of semiconductor industry processes is essential, with experience supporting TSMC or familiarity with its SO360 portal considered a significant advantage for delivering effective, customer-facing operational support.
1. Execute customer order management processes, including order entry, quotation processing, contract administration, and delivery coordination.
2. Operate customer-facing systems, including the TSMC SO360 portal, for order submission, tracking, confirmation, and document management.
3. Support SO360-related customer meeting registration activities for HQ and Taiwan colleagues (including Global Account Managers Taiwan and China)
4. Provide administrative and sales operational support to HQ and Sales Activities Management, including execution of assigned tasks and ad hoc requests.
5. Ensure data integrity and system accuracy across internal CRM platforms and external customer systems (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, SO360).
6. Coordinate closely with Global Account Managers (GAM), Production Planning, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with customer requirements.
7. Monitor order progress, proactively follow up on delivery schedules, and escalate potential risks in a timely manner.
8. Support monthly closing activities, including billing verification and credit documentation, in collaboration with the Finance team.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization projects to enhance operational efficiency.
10. Deliver reporting between local entity and HQ around sales progress
First experience in Sales Support, Order Management or Sales Operations Roles
.Strong coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a structured environment
.Intermediate English communication skills
.Prior exposure to the semiconductor industry or Semi supply chain environment is a strong advantage
.Hands-on experience with TSMC SO360 system is preferred
