SALES ASSISTANT - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT

Location: Panamá, Panamá City

Reports to: VP Export Markets Americas

Contract: 6 months contract

YOUR ROLE @CHANEL

As a Sales Assistant you will support the sales team closely on operational and administrative tasks to ensure the delivery of tasks in the correct timing.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

  • Receive / Analyze / Process / Manage the Monthly entry Process Ordering received from clients (Purchase Orders) by mail.
  • Ensure correct entry in the system (AX) and its accuracy, identify/investigate customer needs for regular campaigns (Blotters / Testers / Samples) and collateral material (Pouches/ Decorative elements / PLV for Counters / PLV for Trade Marketing Animations)
  • Confirm Client's Purchase Order to Traffic department (for auditing purposes), and Control/Verify/Support accuracy of Client information (Address / Global P.O / Additional added Items / Less ordered Items)
  • Support on payment procedures. Process invoices received in Basware accordingly.
  • Prepare and Manage Couriers (FEDEX) sent to Clients / POS for urgent needs, once approved by Sales Area Manager
  • Ensure correct reception and accuracy of Client Monthly Sales Out Reports
  • Perfom Sales analysis thanks to BI, as per demand of Management

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Candidates must be fluent both in English and Spanish.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or any other related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point is required.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience ideally for regional distribution companies, covering relevant topics such as market research and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to handle data and apply analytics.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as team player, problem-solving and good communicator
  • Must be someone organized, resourceful and with clear and strong communication skills.
