Sales Assistant

Location: New York City

Schedule: 4–5 days per week in office

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 base

A growing apparel and fashion company is looking for a Sales Assistant to support the sales team and help manage day-to-day account activity. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in fashion and apparel sales and gain exposure to key retail accounts.

Experience working with off-price retailers or specialty retailers is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with day-to-day account management and administrative needs
• Assist with orders, samples, pricing, reporting, and customer requests
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to keep orders and projects moving
• Help prepare presentations, sales materials, and account updates
• Track deadlines, follow-ups, orders, and account information
• Assist with showroom appointments and customer meetings
• Provide general support to the sales team as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in apparel, fashion, sales, or sales support
• Experience with off-price or specialty retail is a strong plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Team-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Interest in building a long-term career in the apparel/fashion industry
• Ability to work 4–5 days per week in a NYC office
